You know what a classified ad in the newspaper looks like: A
headline followed by a couple of lines and a phone number.
An online classified is the same thing except with a URL or email address instead of a
phone number.
I've made it easy for you when it comes to classifieds -- I've created a number of
successful ads that you can use and placed them in the Sample Ad
section of this site.
A couple notes about online classifieds:
- Some classifieds are just a headline
- Some are 2-5 lines long (about 60 characters wide), others can be longer
- You can use EITHER your 6-Figure URL or an email address (preferably an autorepsonder)
- Some classified ads let you put in BOTH a URL and an email address
Where to place classified ads
Ezines - one of the most common places to find classified ads is in ezines.
Websites - some websites have classified as on them. Be on the lookout
as you find business opportunity, MLM, home business, and other related websites.
Classified sites - some webpages are JUST classified ads. Click here for a selection of them that you can start posting
to.
AOL and other online services - they often have TWO places to put
classifieds -- an actual classified ad section, and a specialized classified section
within a specific forum.
Yahoo - Yahoo.com has one of the most visited classified areas. We
