Managing your Powerlines - the KEY to success

Once you're generating Affiliates using the techniques on this site, the MOST important thing to do is manage your Powerlines effectively. That's the key to making a lot of money with a small amount of effort with 6-Figure Income.

Why do we build Powerlines? Depth vs. Width

The Powerline strategy is not a new one. It's often been called the most powerful way of building a downline. But never has it been so effective as it is with the 6-Figure system.

What the Powerline strategy does is build excitement and momentum. Excitement because you (and the people you enroll) see your downline building before you even get started! Momentum, because that excitement inspires you (and your new people) to take some action FAST!

The other thing the Powerline does it it "jump starts" your business. With the Powerline, you're practically guaranteed a check if all you do is get on autoship! The Powerline gets your business started almost automatically!

Finally, the Powerline builds DEPTH in your downline. "Depth" simply means how many people, one under the other, there are.

In Network Marketing, they say "build depth for long-term success and width for immediate income."

Width, in 6-Figure, means how many Powerlines you have going.

The Powerline Management Strategy is simple:

LEARN to build deep, THEN build WIDE!

This way you're building your group for long-term success AND immediate income!

Enrolling vs. Sponsoring

It's important to know the difference between ENROLLING someone and SPONSORING someone.

When you refer someone to 6-Figure and they join LFI, you are their enroller.

When you enroll someone, they get placed in the next position in the  Powerline (click here for a reminder about how that works)... unless you're starting a new line with them, under somebody that isn't you.

The MEMBER that they get placed under is their Sponsor. Sponsorship merely indicates where in your downlinine they are.

Remember that when you enroll more than 3 people in a month who get on 100BV autoship, you qualify for LFI's Rising Star Bonus, which can be worth about $80-$200!


How do I check my Powerlines?

If you're a Member, you can view your Powerline(s) at www.sixfigureincome.com/members/powerline

You'll need the Username and Password to get into the Members site, then you'll need your 6-Figure ID and Powerline password to view your Powerline(s).

When you look at your Powerline, please look at the DATE of the report... if you don't see information that you expect to see, it may be because the Powerline report is a few days old.


When do I start a new Powerline?

Since our goal with the Powerline strategy is to build depth and momentum and then start additional lines, here is my recommendation about starting a new line:

  • Promote your 6-Figure URL, putting leads in your "parent line" (the one you came into) until:
    1. You are generating at least 5 Affiliates per week
    2. You have at least 10 Members under you
    3. At least 2 of them are brining in new Affiliates

You can tell who is bringing in new Affiliates by looking at the "enrolled by" column of the Powerline display.

In many ways, the most important part of my guideline is #1 -- the number of new Affiliates YOU are bringing in.

If you are bringing in more than 1 Affiliate per day, here's another strategy to use:

  • Start a number of Powerlines slightly less than the number of leads you're bringing in per day. In other words, if you're bringing in 10 leads per day, start 8 lines.
  • Rotate the leads among those lines using the Lead Rotation Service (described below)
  • When any of those lines "take off" (when there are 10 or more Members and 2 or more that are generating Affiliates), start a new line, taking the leads out of the one that's moving on it's own and putting them in the new line.

There's one other strategy, similar to this one, that you can use if you're bringing in a lot of Affiliates. I'll describe it in a moment.


How do I start a new Powerline?

Simple. Go to www.sixfigureincome.com/members/ and click on Start A New Powerline. Then follow the directions on that page.


With whom do I start a new Powerline?

Good question. If I had my choice, I would start a line with someone that I knew who would be interested in this business.

Sometimes I've contacted friends and said, "I'm going to put you in this system. You don't have to do anything, but I want you to check it out." Then I've used them to start a new line. As I've said before, who better to be successful in this business than my friends!

You can also ask the SFI offices to use a lead of theirs to start a new line. They charge a fee for this.

If you're bringing in more than 2 leads per day, consistently, you can contact the SFI office and ask them to start a new line or lines with one of your next leads.


The #1 Powerline position - Getting Infinity Bonuses

Every compensation plan has a hurdle or two in it -- a requirement that's kind of tricky to meet.

In the LFI plan, one hurdle is that to qualify for "infinity bonuses" -- commissions on your 4th level and below, possible down your ENTIRE Powerline -- you need to have a certain number of people who you ENROLL and SPONSOR on 100 BV autoship.

That means you need the FIRST person in your new Powerlines on 100BV autoship.

There are four ways that you can make this happen:

  1. Put someone at the top of a line who wants to be in the business and will commit to 100BV autoship.
  2. Cross your fingers that the new line will start with someone who sees the power of what we're doing and gets on 100BV autoship.
  3. Inspire the first person in the line to get on 100 BV autoship by helping her business grow (see below).
  4. Find the first person in the new line who gets on 100BV autoship and remove the people above him who aren't interested in the business (this is a last resort!)

Inspiring the #1 position

One of the things I've done to get someone at the top of a Powerline to get on 100BV -- or thank them for doing so -- is help them and help myself at the same time!

Remember that in the LFI compensation plan you get a bigger commission on your 2nd level people. If you're on 100BV autoship, you get 15% on your 1st level people and 40% on your 2nd level!

So, if you help the first person in a Powerline get her new line started, you help them and you add a big commission to your check!

What I've done is contacted the first person in a line and said, "I want to help your business DOUBLE in size by starting another Powerline for you... if you get on 100BV autoship."

Then, just add their ID to your Lead Rotation.

As I mentioned, I've also done this to thank someone for getting on 100BV autoship!

If the person says "No thanks" you might make the same offer to the first person in the Powerline who is ordering product. This won't help you qualify for Infinity Bonuses, but it will help both of you get a bigger check.


Rotating leads among lines

If you are generating enough leads, you want them going into more than one line at a time.

Why? Because if you build a line TOO fast, it can be overwhelming to the people in it. And once there are more than 50 people in the line, the Affiliates at the top stop getting notices about the new Affiliates.

I like to see a line grow at 1-3 Affiliates per day.

So if you're generating more than 1-3 Affiliates per day, rotate your leads among enough lines to keep them growing at that rate.

To use the Lead Rotation service, go to www.sixfigureincome.com/members/ and click on the link at the bottom of the page about Lead Rotation. There is a nominal charge from SFI for this service.


Retiring "dead weight"

Imagine that you have enrolled 5 people in a Powerline, but only the 5th person is doing anything, and they're on 100BV autoship.

Wouldn't it be nice if they were on your 1st level, enrolled AND sponsored by you so that they helped you qualify for Infinity Bonuses?

They can be.

There are two ways this can happen:

  1. If the first 4 people haven't ordered product in 6 months, they are removed from the LFI system, the 5th person "rolls up" and becomes 1st level to me!
  2. You can speed up this process by checking with the first 4 people and asking if they want to participate with 6-Figure. If not, ask them to resign --  contact LFI for instructions.

NOTE: About #2 -- when you contact those first 4 people, it's entirely possible that, given what you tell them about your inquiry, they'll take some action! I guess what I'm saying is "Don't try to get someone out who might take action a little later!"  I'm more presenting this as an "option" than a strategy!


The GOAL -- Platinum -- and how to get there

The second hurdle in the LFI plan is getting to Platinum.

You might be able to find 6 people to put on your first level who will get on 100BV autoship, and qualify for Gold. But getting to Platinum requires that people in your group are working... or that you are helping them well!

Platinum requires 10,000BV in your first 6 "compressed" levels.

"Compressed levels" means "the first 6 levels of people ordering, removing everyone who doesn't order.

Let's look at a chart showing one of your Powerlines to see the difference between Actual levels and the "compressed levels" that you get paid on.

You can see that you get paid based on the people that ORDER, not based on the actual level of the person in your downline.

Does 10,000BV seem like a lot? Consider this:

If you have 6 people on your 1st level on 100 BV, and the each have 4 on THEIR first level at 100BV, and they have 3 100BV people on their first level, you've made it!

And this is only going down 3 levels! With the depth that the Powerlines build, it can be even easier! And with the Infinity Bonus, you would be making even more money. In fact, we're seeing that 6-Figure Platinum checks are more than double this amount.

(This is obviously just an example, not a guarantee)

The technique to making this happen is:

  1. Get your 6 first level people on 100 BV as discussed above.
  2. HELP them do the same!

If you're merely building one Powerline per month, you could get to Platinum in 6-8 months, almost effortlessly!

And when you build this way, your 1st level people are only 2-3 months away from being Platinum themselves... making you a 3-Star Diamond (which means BIG money)!


A SPECIAL strategy for experienced networkers!

We want to help you create a group, like the one in that chart, in just a few weeks.

Here's how you make that happen:

  1. Contact your Group Leader, Steven Sashen or Rich Strayer and tell us that you have the ability to find 4-6 people to join you this month.
  2. We will help you sign them up, first level to you and get them on autoship.
  3. We will do a promotion that starts their Powerlines growing.
  4. Once they see the system in action, we'll repeat the process with them.
